Dual Degree Programs
MSM offers a number of dual degree programs to help tailor advanced education to the individual's needs and interests. The following describes each of the dual degree programs we offer:
M.D./Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences
Research-oriented medical students may apply to study both M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. Specialized training programs will be developed, on an individual basis, for exceptional medical students interested in pursuing a leadership career path in biomedical research, clinical research and/or academic medicine. Through an individualized curriculum plan, there is a mechanism for medical students to obtain specialized research training and to earn a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences in addition to their M.D. degree.
